National Income Dynamics Study

The National Income Dynamics Study (NIDS), is the first national panel study in South Africa. NIDS is initiated and funded by the Department of Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation of the Government of South Africa. The survey project implementer is the Southern Africa Labour and Development Research Unit (SALDRU) at the University of Cape Town.
