Consuming Urban Poverty Project

The Consuming Urban Poverty Project is based at the African Centre for Cities at the University of Cape Town. The Project undertakes research on governing food systems to alleviate poverty in secondary cities in Africa. The datasets available here are from food surveys in the cities of Kitwe (Zambia), Kisumu (Kenya) and Epworth (Zimbabwe).
