African Centre for Cities

The African Centre for Cities (ACC) is an interdisciplinary research hub based at the University of Cape Town that investigates urban challenges - for example, food security, climate change adaptation, economic inclusion, cultural vitality and tolerance. ACC undertakes collaborative research and policy discourses for vibrant, just and sustainable cities. The work supports the sustainable cities goal of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and Africa's Agenda 2063.
