Abstract
Insecurity since time immemorial has always been a source of concern for all humans. It remains a pertinent factor when choosing where to locate a home, business and other human settlements. Insecurity in itself involves actual danger or fear of heard danger. Insecurity and crime are interlinked with the difference being that insecurity can involve perception of fear of crime or fear of crime itself. Cause of crime and insecurity are complex as will be observed in the findings.
