Abstract | One of the MDGs is to reduce sexual transmission of HIV by 50 percent by 2015. But new infections are outpacing scaled up treatment, basic knowledge about HIV is poor, only about 35 percent of those infected receive treatment, and only about 40 percent of people living with HIV know their status. |
