    Abstract

    The Tanzania National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) was established as an autonomous agency by the Statistics Act, 2015, with a mandate to provide official statistics to the government, business community, and the public, and to be the co-coordinating agency for Tanzania's National Statistical System. The mission of the NBS is to produce quality official statistics and services that meet the needs of national and international stakeholders for evidence based planning and decision-making.This collection highlights the availability of national micro-datasets disseminated as public use files on the National Bureau of Statistics Microdata Catalog. The site holds datasets from 1988 to the current year.
