This dataset contains administrative records collected to manage prospective student admissions at institutional level. The primary purposes of data collection were to administer student application submissions, support admissions decision workflows, enable enrolment planning, and maintain demographic and academic qualification information for applicants applying to the institution. Data span the period from January 2006 to December 2014 and include 1,714,669 unique application records linked to 285,005 individual applicants.
The data are organized into four analytical components representing different levels of applicant information: (1) application-level records, uniquely identified by an application ID, that capture information on each individual application instance (multiple applications may exist per person);(2) individual-level records, uniquely identified by an individual ID, that provide demographic attributes and academic indicators including key school subject results;(3) secondary education history, structured at subject level, that allows distinction between specific qualification types and awarding authorities such as Cambridge Internal Examinations (CIE) and National Senior Certificate (NSC); and (4) tertiary education history, consisting of multiple study episode entries per applicant, including year of study, institution attended, and transcript-related indicators.
All records are anonymized. Dataset access is restricted to accredited researchers, who are permitted to conduct analysis through our secure Remote Access Data Enclave to ensure responsible and controlled research use.
