Description This is the COICOP (Classification of Individual Consumption by Purpose) code list for the classification of reported items recorded in the weekly diary during the survey. The classification is hierarchical and presented in four levels, i.e. main group level, secondary group level, third group level and detailed level. The expenditure files in the LCS 2008/09 dataset link amounts to COICOP codes.
