In particular, the survey aimed to explore how women access land (including different types of land such as residential and fields), their actual use of the different types of land, their decision making capacity in relation to the different categories of land, and the extent of their security or vulnerability to eviction. This information can be added to some of the value labels for this variable, namely:\n\n12 Ganile (=married with customary procedures not completed) - husband alive\n13 \"Gidile (=married with customary procedures) - husband alive\n\n22 Ndendile (married with customs) - husband alive\n23 Ndithwelwe (=\"abducted\") \n24 Siyahlalisana (=cohabiting)\n\n29 Widowed-not endile (\"ndendile\" means I am\/was married; \"endile\" is without the personal pronoun.
