Civil Registration Data

Civil registration Data includes administrative records of births, deaths, marriages, and divorces in the country. Statistics South Africa compiles vital statistics datasets from data collected through the civil registration system and administrative records. This collection includes data on recorded live births and marriages from the SA Department of Home Affairs, as well as divorce records provided to Statistics SA by the SA Department of Justice and Constitutional Development from various regional courts.
