Several steps are detailed in the dataset, as the occupation classification systems are not the same, and the data needs to be converted from the 6-digit to the 4-digit level. The dataset was developed as part of a SALDRU working paper, An Analytical Framework to Assess Green Transition Jobs in South Africa, and is best understood alongside this paper, where the methodology is explained in detail.
