Initial errors in the metadata for the Labour Force Survey 2008 First Quarter have been corrected.
Weight Variable in the Labour Force Survey 2008 First Quarter
Labour Force Survey 2008 (First Quarter): Weight Variable Version one of the metadata file for the LFS 2008 Q1 has incorrect information regarding the weight variable. The metadata records a valid range of: 4.8988*17680.0730 for this variable. This is incorrect.
Statistics South Africa was notified of this and metadata has been corrected to reflect a range of 50 - 4814.5045 for the weight variable, which is correct.
DataFirst will post the corrected metadata file on the Wiki once it has been made available by Statistics South Africa.
